On the instance of the 200th Anniversary of Greece’s National Rebirth, the esteemed Academy of Athens organized a special exhibition to honor the revolt of the Greek people, as well as their endless battles and sacrifices during the Independence War.
Aiming to encourage commemorative actions in celebration of our home country’s big anniversary, MUEVO joined forces with the Academy of Athens to co-produce the exhibition.
Titled “Narrations of Freedom: The Academy of Athens Pays Tribute to 1821”, the exhibition brought together a diversity of artworks and objects that highlighted the contribution of Modern Greek Enlightenment figures towards the ideological preparation of the Revolution.
In this project, our company served as an exhibition sponsor, providing more than 15 display cases on a pro bono basis.
The end result of this moving event has been captured in the Academy’s exhibition catalogue, where MUEVO ’s showcases can still be seen to present the splendid historic artefacts under a dazzling light.
