Cultural Center of Arts & Letters Niki Papatheochari

Athens, Greece

Inaugurated in summer 2025, the Cultural Center of Art & Letters Niki Papatheochari marks a new cultural landmark in the legendary scenery of Asteria Glyfada, on the Athenian Riviera.

A place where art meets poetry, the Cultural Center presents 70 unique sculptural artworks created by artist Niki Papatheochari, using stones and raw materials from the sea floor. The underwater inspired museography is framed by lines of the artist’s poetry, providing a common ground where ancient myth, drama, tragedy and comedy blend together into a harmonious dialogue.

On this occasion, MUEVO was commissioned with the implementation of the museography, developing more than fifty unique showcases for the presentation of the museum’s permanent collection. In this context, our company further undertook the creation of a bespoke wall mounted furniture piece, as well as the provision of all exhibition furnishings, including plinths and bases, cartels and graphic panels.

The end result is a cohesive museographic environment that equally enhances the artworks and the visitor experience.
